Dear Parents and Guardians of the Woods community,
As your new principal, I would like to express just how excited I am to become a part of this vibrant school! Having been a middle school staff member in the Fairfield Public Schools for nine years prior to my most recent position in Westport, I see this as a professional homecoming; one that has been met by many familiar faces and some friendly new ones as well. Dr. Rosato was able to meet with me prior to his departure and could not say enough about the students, families and staff at Woods. In the last two weeks, I have come to understand his strong level of affection for this community.
As we enter the heart of the summer, I wish you some time in both sun and shade, to enjoy those things that give you peace. We will soon embark on a new adventure as we begin the 2020-21 school year. As a parent myself, I know that this will bring continued challenges for us as a school family. While I cannot promise to have answers to every question right now, I can commit to keeping you informed each step of the way, and to maintaining a specific focus on the health and safety of our students and staff as decisions are being made. In return, I ask for your continued flexibility, communication and support as we move forward together in the fall.
All my best to you and your children,
